On Friday 23rd June 2006, AYF held their Annual Summer Ball.  Again it was a very special occasion. The team worked so hard in putting this event on and their efforts were rewarded by everyone having a really great night. Over 100 teenagers came and they made a real effort in dressing for the occasion, as jeans were not allowed! Sound, as last year, was by 'Buzz Disco', and food and soft drinks were close to hand.

It was one of those balmy summer evenings weather wise, which helped the evening go so well. We tried out our new marquee which was brought by the kindness of several parents and Trusts, and also by the efforts of the teenagers themselves. This is an ongoing issue as further funding is needed to buy other equipment for our summer camp in four weeks time!
