ALDRIDGE YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
is the teenage group from
Aldridge Parish Church
for year 9 to the end of school age
before moving on to a job or further education.
We meet on Friday nights in the church lounge
from 8pm until 10pm,
doing a varied
programme
of activities: quizzes, games, tobogganing,
bowling and such. Click on the 'friday'
link above for details.
We also meet between 8.15pm and 10pm on sunday
nights for what we call 'squash'- a time of more structured
teaching mixed in with fellowship. There is also a Tuesday group called
'Hungry', see the link above
We have a weekend away in February at a
conference centre called Cloverley hall in
Shropshire,
and a nine day canvas camp on the Gower
Peninsular in South Wales in July.
"Through Friendship, Through Fellowship, To
Christ"
is what we are about; it's the groups aim to let
teenagers decide, without pressure, if the
Christian faith is right for them.
