On Saturday 24th July a trusted team of AYFers set off to Rhossili, on
The Gower in South Wales to set up AYF Camp 2010 for the 36th time!
Then on Sunday 25th July our main party camp down and camp 2010 got underway.
And what a camp it was! We had about 100 in total and it was just an amazing
time together. For our Quiet Time groups we looked at 'Encounters with Jesus'

and for our epilogue topics in the evening, we looked at some very special Psalms.

Camp 2010 turned out to be the driest for several years and much time was spent of the beach sunning ourselves and/or involved in some sort of group games. New friendships were made and it was just one very special time together. Phil Wilks (our new youth coordinator starting in September) came down to visit us for a couple of days and it was great to see him.
All AYF Camps are good but this turned out to be exceptional, and a HUGE thanks to God for His greatness and for blessing us in the way he did. On the friday evening during our epilogue time together, and invitation to follow Christ for the first time was made and 19 teenagers came forward! Amazing.

Below are a few pictures of what went on, and a camp slides night is planned for friday 10th September when parents and family are invited to come and see more of what went on.

Our teenagers are a fantastic group and a HUGE thank you to them too for making camp 2010 what it was.
